Side Golf Society

The Side Golf Society was formed in 2008 so that keen golfers living full time or part time in Side, Turkey can experience and enjoy the wonderful golf courses in Belek, Turkey. Belek continues to receive high praise and is undoubtably already one of the best golfing destinations in Europe.

Our objective is for Members to play quality golf at discounted prices. We will ensure that our Members will be able to play all the superb courses in Belek. Clubs have agreed to give reduced green fees for Members and also discounts for their restaurants and bars. In addition, our Membership Cards will enable Members to enjoy further discounts in a number of local shops, retail outlets and restaurants.

The Society will aim to promote golf in Turkey generally, hold golf competitions and social functions for its Members and their families. Membership is anticipated to be in high demand as the SGS is the first and only Golf Society in Side.

The objective of this exciting new Society is to allow owners of villas and apartments in Side and those golfers spending their holiday in Side to join a friendly society, to play great golf courses at reduced rates and then to enjoy the hospitality after the game.

The current golfing boom in Belek means that often, at peak times it is difficult to get a tee time at all as the local hotels have block bookings for their guests. However, The Society has the necessary contacts with all the Courses to obtain good tee times throughout the year.

In addition to arranging the tee times for Members, transportation will also be provided

Members will be required to provide current handicap certificates and 2 passport photographs and will pay an annual subscription of 50 Euros to the Society.

In addition we are also able to provide quality golf clothing with our exclusive Side Golf Society logo

The Society will send regular updates and news to members about forthcoming events. We will also keep a list of members to facilitate contact with each other.
